We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser to work with us on a voluntary basis.

The Role:

The role depends upon your own experience and your own interests, but we need help in the following areas:

  • Assist with securing and maintaining funding from donors
  • Prepare project proposals for funding applications to trusts, foundations, governments & development organisations
  • Develop corporate relationships to secure funding
  • Assist with organising events, to raise awareness of CAI and bring in funds
  • Attend networking events and make presentations
  • Increase our membership and supporter base
  • Work with local and national media to raise our profile
  • Increase our fundraising portfolio and help identify new initiatives

You can be involved in all, or some, of the above.

The post is unpaid, but local travel expenses will be covered.

For an informal chat please give the office a call on: 0115 950 6662.

Other CAI volunteers

CAI is usually looking for people with IT, graphic design skills or marketing skills, to help us with our publicity.

CAI is always very grateful for help with distributing publicity materials.

CAI is always looking for volunteers to run fundraising activities, or get sponsorship when they do sporting events etc.

If you think that you might be able to help, please get in touch.
